Catie was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the warm, laid-back style of the south is reflected in her music. With musical inspiration drawn from artists like Jason Reeves, Brandi Carlile, Matt Wertz, and Andrew Belle, Catie's live set is a musical confession that is sure to entertain and connect with audiences of all types. 

Catie has shared the stage with locally and nationally touring acts,  including the Avett Brothers, Elise Testone and Tori Sparks, recorded tracks with members of The Old Ceremony and Cravin' Melon, and was a nominated for best female rock artist in the 2012 Carolina Music Awards.
